Reves's Appraismt retd. The Appraisment of the Estate of John Reeves, deced., was returned and James Reves, his Executor, making Oath thereto according to his subscription on the Inventory ordered to be recorded. A second entry on that day reads: Catlet & Wife v Reves &c. The suite between William Catlet and Sarah his Wife, Plts. and James Reves, Executor of the Last Will and Testament of John Reves, deced., Deft. by Petition, on motion of Deft. is continued til next Court, Lancaster County, June 9, 1731. (Sparacio, 1729-1732, p. 69, 75.)

Catket & Wife v Reves &c. The suit between William Catlet and Sarah his Wife Plts. and James Reves, Executor of the Last Will and Testament of John Reves, deced, Deft. by Petition is continued til next Court on Plts's motion and costs, Lancaster County, September 8, 1731. (Sparacio, 1729-1732, p. 58.)

Catlet & Wife v Reves, &c. In the suit between William Catlet and Sarah his Wife, Plts. and James Reves, Executor of the Last Will and Testament of John Reves, deced., Deft. by Petition for Sarah's part of the Estates of William Clark and Arthur Clark, her Grandfather and Father as in the Petition is set forth by consent of the parties, Robert Mitchell, Henry Carter and Joseph Carter, Gent., are appointed to settle all Accounts in difference relating to this suit and to make a report of their proceedings herein to the next Court, Lancaster County, October 13, 1731. Catlet & Wife v Reves, &c. In the suit between William Catlet and Sarah his Wife, Plts. and James Reves, Executor of the Last Will and Testament of John Reves, deced., Deft. by Petition, the Order of the last Court for an audit in this Cause not being performed is renewed and ordered the same be performed and a return thereof make to the next Court, Lancaster County, November 10, 1731. (Sparacio, 1729-1732, p. 69.)

Catlet & Wife v Reves &c., Judgmt. In the suit between William Catlet and Sarah his Wife, Plts. and James Reves, Executor of the Last Will and Testament of John Reves, deced., Deft. by Petition, a report of the Auditors appointed in this Cause was returned and admitted to Record and Judgment is granted to Plts. for two pounds and nine pence current money the sum by the Auditors found to be due and costs of the Estate of the deced. John Reves, in the hands of the Deft. if so much thereof he hath otherwise the costs are to be levied of the proper Estate of the Deft., Lancaster County, December 8, 1731. Joseph Carter, Gent., is appointed to clear a Road ten foot wide from the Main Road which leads from this County Courthouse to William Chelton's Gate and it is ordered William Chelton, William Chelton Junr, Robert Galbreath, William Ford, James Reves, Thomas Lee and the said Carter assist in clearing the same, Lancaster County, July 10, 1734. (Sparacio, 1736-1739, p. 48.)

James Reeves, age 6, orphan of William Reeves, deceased; mother is Sarah Reeves; James is bound to John Wale till he reaches 21 years, dated 29 September 1735; Sarah is also former widow of Thomas Kirk and mother of John Kirk, who was aged 11 on 26 September last; Lancaster County, September 29, 1735. (Sparacio, 1732-1736, p. 92-93.)

James Reeves was a juror, Lancaster County, November 11, 1737. (Sparacio, 1736-1739, p. 48.)
