Thomas Armstrong of Orange to John Reeves of same, two hundred pounds, 1000 acres, one undivided half of tract in two parts to be divided, in Davidson County, Tn, on S. side of Cumberland R. below a place known as Dyer's Camp, begin at Capt. Hickman's NE cor. At a cherry tree, poplar & sassafras, W with Hickman's line crossing Hickmans Cr. 300 p. to a red oak and dogwood, N 500 p. to a walnut, E 320 p to a stake, S 500 p. to beginning; signed: Thomas Armstrong; witness: Wm. Norwood, Will. Lytle, Enoch Collins; proved 08 October 1798 before David Stone Judge of Superior Court of Law and Equity; affidavit of Samuel Ashe, Gov., that David Stone is a Superior Court Judge 10 October 1798, delvd. Jno. Reeves.
