Lancaster District         } Know all men by these presents that William Baskins of the State & of Said District hath bargained & sold a parcel of Land Containing one hundred Acres of Land belonging to Edmond Hale unto James Reeves for the sum of fifty Dollars to hand paid beginning on a post oak corner of the old Line, thence running on said line to Piggs Line, thence on Pigg’s, thence to a Rock Corner, thence to the beginning corner which land will more fully appear by the plat of said Land - Together with all and singular the rights from myself my heirs Excr & Admr forever unto the said James Reves his heirs Exrs Admrs forever - whereof I do set my hand and seal this twenty third of January 1826 -

Lancaster District         } Came before me John Reves and made oath as the Law directs and saith that he saw William Baskins sign seal and deliver the within instrument of writing to James Reves for the uses & purposes within mentioned and that he also saw Samuel Humphres assign the same as subscribing witness to the same - Sworn to before me 16th January 1817 -
