Lancaster District         } Know all men by these presents that I John Blackmon of Lancaster County aforesaid for consideration for the sum of thirty Dollars to me in hand paid by James Reves, have bargained Sold and Released and by these presents do grant bargain Sell and Release unto James Reves that parcel of Land Containing fifteen acres more of less in Lancaster County & State aforesaid, situate on the head of Bear Creek it being a part of Land granted to John Blackmon the 16 January 1786, and has such shape as a plat will more fully appear beginning on a pine corner on the Lancaster Road, - thence along Said Road to Dudley Hale’s Land, - thence along said Land to James Reves’s Land thence along said line to the beginning corner - Together with all & Singular the rights members Hereditaments and Appurtenances unto the premises belonging unto the said James Reves his heirs Executors Admrs - and I do hereby bind myself my heirs Executors Admrs to warrant & forever defend all & singular the Rights before mentioned unto the said James Reeves forever September 6th 1817
