In the Name of God Amen. The first day of June Eighteen Hundred and Eighteen, I Thomas I. Reives (sic) of Charles County and State of Maryland being in perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God Therefore calling to mind the mortality of the Body of Man and knowing that it is appointed for all Men to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament that is to say principally and first of all I give my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in the Episcopal faith at the discretion of my Executors hopeing to receive forgiveness of my sins at the tribunal of God and as touching such worldly Estates wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this life I give and dispose of the same in the following manner and form - First of all I desire that all my Just debts shall be paid by my Executors hereafter named - Inpremesis. I give and bequethe unto Rebecca H. Reeves one negro woman named Ann one Bed and furniture one Cow and Calf, one Mare bridle and saddle - Item I give and bequeathe to Hezekiah I. Reeves one negro Boy named Pries to be received at my decease together with Sixty six dollars which he has already received - Item 2nd I give and bequeathe unto Mary E. Huntt my Second daughter one negro Boy named Fielder together with what other small articles she has received Item 3d I give and bequeath unto Thomas W. Reeves one negro Girl called Lucinder one Bed and furniture one dish & looking Glass one Horse Saddle and Bridle - Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Permealy Reeves one negro Girl named Prucilla, one Bed and furniture one Cow & calf, one Horse bridle and saddle - Item I give and bequeath unto Charles F. Reeves, one negro woman named Charity one Bed and furniture one Cow and Calf with fifty dollars cash to levied (sic) out of the Estate Item I give and bequeath unto Josiah W. Reeves one negro woman named Susannah one Bed and furniture, one Cow and Calf half dozen flag bottom chairs, one razor and shaving box and razer case, one Cabinet box, one looking Glass with all my waring apparel, in case I should marry a Second wife it is my will and desire that she should have her just part of my whole Estate real and personal during her natural life and to have her disposial of the Sum at her decease amongst my and her children - Lastly, my will and desire is at my wife's decease that the landed property should return to my male children if there should be enough to pay my Just debts without, and further my desire is that my unmarried daughters shall have there residence on my landed premeses (sic) free from charges, and still further my desire is that my sons shall pay unto the sisters in annual payments there proportionable parts of the said landed property the same to be valuable by two freeholders chosen by the parties and finally I constitute and appoint Thomas W. Reeves and Doct. James Reeves if there should be a residue left in the Executors hands after paying all my Just debts are paid it shall be equally divided amongst all my children, revoking all other wills heretofore made made (sic) by me and acknowledging this to be my last - In witness whereof the said Thomas I. Reeves hath hereunto set hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written -

At the foot of the aforegoing will it is there written
Charles County Sct. January 25th 1819 Then came Thomas W. Reeves one of the Executors of Thomas I. Reeves late of Charles County deceased and made oath on the Holy Evangely (sic?) of Almighty God that the aforegoing instrument of writing is the true and whole last will and testament of the said deceased that hath come to his hands or possession and that he doth not know of any other -
