In the Name of God Amen, I Elizabeth Balfour of the County of Randolph & State of North Carolina being Weak of Boddy & Sick, but of Sound & disposing mind & Memory do make this my last will & testament in in (sic) Manner & form following viz

I Give & bequeath to my Grand daughter Mary Reeves all the property I left with her when I moved from Salisbury Also one half of the Sum of fifteen Dollars due to me from Samuel Reeves, and also one half of all the Debts due to me in and about Salisbury.

I Give & bequeath to my Grandaughter (sic) Eliza B. Hughs the other half of the aforesaid Sum of fifteen Dollars and of the aforesaid Debts also the Drawers Bought from Mrs. Catherine Dayton, The Blue Chest, the bed & Furniture called hers and the Spoons Bought at the Sale of her Father’s Property - I Give & bequeath to Mrs. Catherine Dayton widow of my Brother Samuel Dayton the Sum of fifty dollars to be deposited in the Hands of Eliza Alliming & Polly Holland of Salisbury and by them transmitted to Mrs. Dayton all the Rest & Residue of my Property including the money in his hands: I Give & Bequeath to my Son Andrew Balfour Who is hereby nominated Constituted and apointed (sic) Sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testement (sic) the 31 day of May 1819.
