In the name of God Amen. I Asa Reeves of Fleming County and the state of Kentucky being weak in body but sound and perfect mind and memory considering the uncertainty of this mortal life do make and publish this my last will and testment in the manner and form folowing that is to say. First it is my will and desire that all my debts be speedily and punctually paid.
Item: I give and bequeath to William Reeves one hundred acres of land lying in Fleming County and state aforesaid being part of the track of land that I now live on that I give the said William Reeves the privilege of selling which he has done.
Item: I give to Elias Reeves one hundred acres of land being part of the tract that I now live on which I give him the privilege to sell and he has sold it.
Item: I give and bequeath to Jabes Reeves one hundred acres of land being part of the tract of land that I now live on which I have made a deed of gift which will show the boundries of said land.
Item: that I give and bequeath to Asa Reeves one hundred acres of land that I purchased from William Reeves and is part of that I now live on.
Item: It is in My will and secure that the balance of the land be equally divided between George Reeves and Isaac Reeves and that said Isaac Reeves' part is to be laid off so as to include the buildings and Orchard where I now live.
Item: all my remainder of my estate it is my will and desire that it be equally divided amoungst my six daughters, Ann Doggett Crooke, Susannah Reeves, Sally Collingsworth Mahan, Elizabeth Jones, Margaret Burk, Jane Carter, and my adopted son Benjamin Reeves.
I appoint my son George Reeves Executor to this last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the seventh day of July one hundred and eight hundred and nineteen.

Signed and sealed published and declared by the above named Asa Reeves to be his will and testament in the Presence of us -

At a court held for Fleming County on the third day of Nov 1823. This writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Asa Reeves, Sr. dec'd and was produced in court proven by the oaths of Thomas Summers and James Blair and ordered to be recorded which is done.
