Know all men by these Presents that I James B Reeves of Lancaster County in the aforesaid State in consideration of Three hundred and thirty Dollars to me in hand paid by Martin C. Bowers and Samuel W. Bowers of the State and County above mentioned have Granted, Bargained, Sold and Released and by these Presents, do Grant, Bargain, Sell, and Release unto the said Martin C. Bowers and Samuel W. Bowers all that piece and parcel or tract of land situate in the County and State aforesaid, being on the waters of Little Lynches Creek, bounded on the South by lands of Jas. A. Weaner, on the West by lands of Mrs. M. B. Cole and George W. Beckham, on the North by lands of J. T. Marshall and J. E. Liles, and on the East by lands of W. W. Liles and Jas A. Weaner containing one hundred and seventy four acres more or less.
Together with all and singular the Rights, Members, Hereditaments and Appurtenances to the said Premises belonging or in any wise incident or appertaining to have and to hold all and singular the premises before mentioned, unto the said Martin C. Bowers and Samuel W. Bowers their Heirs and Assigns forever, and do hereby bind myself my Heirs, Executors, and Administrators, to warrant, and forever defend, all and singular the said premises unto the said Martin C. Bowers and Samuel W. Bowers their Heirs and Assigns against myself and my Heirs and all other persons whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same, or any part thereof.
Witness my Hand and Seal, this fourth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and seventy eight and in the 103d year of the Independence of the United States of
America

Personally appeared before me J.. A. Weaner and made oath that he saw James Reeves sign seal and deliver the above Conveyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and that he with W. J. Lyles in the presence of each other witnessed the due execution thereof.
