Children of David F. and Martha Heidle Reeves:

1. Robert L. Reeves, b. March 1884, GA. He was living in Pike Co., GA, as late as 1920.
2. Jefferson Reeves, b. June 1885, GA. He later lived in Spalding Co., GA.
3. Grover C. Reeves, b. April 1888, GA. He was living in Pike Co., GA, as late as 1920.
4. Bloomer Clifton Reeves, b. c. 1890, GA. He m. Hattie Daniel and Lellie Phillips and d. 26 June 1941 in Montgomery, AL.

David was an 18 year old farm laborer in 1870, living with his brother Hugh Henry Reeves in HH 931/939, Pike Co., GA.

David married Martha Heidle, daughter of Philip Thurman Heidle and Mary Britt, about 1879. She had been born in Monroe Co., GA.

David and Martha were numerated in GMD 581, Pike Co., GA, HH 94/94, in 1880. They were childless at that time. Living next door to them was Haten Hicks, who had married Susan Reeves in 1874, and nearby were Hugh Henry and Susan Smith Reeves.

Martha was a widow in at the time of the 1900 Pike Co., GA, Census, GMD 581, HH 166/170. She was born in March 1855. Her household included: Robert L., March 1884; Jefferson, June 1885; Grover C., April 1888; Bloomer, October 1890. Martha was a widow who reported that she had been married for 21 years and that four of the six children born to her were then living.
