Narrative

  1. Thomas Thomas
Elizabeth Reeves and William Thomas are said to have had four sons and a daughter.

William Thomas was a delegate to the Revolutionary Convention in 1775, and a member of the Committee of Safety for St. Mary's County in the same year.

The historic Thomas homestead known as Deep Falls is today a historic landmark in St. Mary's County, Maryland. In a proprietary grant of March 26, 1680, the estate was spoken of as "Wales," but shortly the name became Deep Falls as it is still called. The house was erected by Major William Thomas about 1745 and has never passed from the hands of descendants of the builder.
