Narrative

Samuel Reeves' will of 1801 made reference to, but did not name all of his minor children. Sarah who married Owen Harrison is identified through deed records of Rowan County. An 1816 Rowan County deed from Owen Harrison and Sarah his wife to John C. Reeves stipulates that it was their share of the lands of Samuel Reeves, deceased.
