Other probable children are Catherine, born 1831, and Eliza, born 1833. Both are living at the next residence to this family in the 1850 census of DeSoto County, Mississippi. The head of household is a Jason Jackson born 1811 in South Carolina whose children were also born in Tennessee. There are several other Jackson families living in the adjacent residences in addition to William and Sarah's son John M. Reeves.

The widowed Sarah Reeves and several of her children appear to have migrated to northwest Arkansas after the Civil War and are found living in the Izard County area.
