Transcript

To all Christian People to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that I Francis Deed in the County of York in the Province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England Mariner & Sarah my wife for & in consideration of the sum of four pounds of good & lawful money of the province aforesd to us in hand paid before the ensealing & delivery hereof well & truly paid by Samuel Reves of ye town county and Province aforesd mariner the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge ourselves therewith fully satisfied & contented & thereof & of every part & parcel thereof do acuit and discharge the sd Samuel Reves his heirs excrs & adminrs for ever by these presents have given granted bargained sold conveyed & confirmed & by these presents do fully freely clearly & absolutely give grant bargain sell convey & confirm unto him the sd Samuel Reves his heirs & assigns forever one tract of land lying & being in Kittery in the County aforesd - containing by estimation half an acre be it more or less Butted & bounded as followeth Beginning at the County Road near my Dwelling House running South & by west twenty one pole to Wm Bauls land then East & by South to the Countyr Road & along by the Road to the post Beginning To have and to hold these granted & bargained premises with all the apptrces priviledges & comodities to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining unto him the sd Samuel Reves his Heirs & assigns to his & their own & proper use & benefit forever and we the sd Francis & Sarah Deed for us our Heirs Execs do covenant promise & grant to & with the sd Samuel Reves his heirs & assigns that before the ensealing hereof we are the true sole & lawful owners of the above bargained premises & are lawfully seized & possessed of the same in our own proper Right as a good pfect & absolute estate of inheritance in fee simple & have in our selves good right full power & lawful authority to grant bargain sell convey & confirm sd bargained premises in manner above sd and that the said Samuel Reves his heirs & assigns shall & may from time to time & at all times forever hereafter by force & virtue of these presents lawfully peaceably and quietly have hold use occupy possess and enjoy the sd demised & bargained premises with the appurces fee & clear & freely & clearly acquitted & discharged of and from all & all manner of former & other gifts grants, bargains sales mortgages wills entails or any other enembrances whatsoever Furthermore are ye sd Francis & Sarah Deed for ourselves our Heirs execs & admins do covenant & engage the above demised premises to him the sd Samuel Reves his heirs & assigns against the lawful claims & demands of any person or persons whatsoever forever hereafter to warrant secure & defend. In... whereof we have hereunto set our hands & seals this seventeenth day of Novr & in the first year of his Majtys Reign George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland & in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & twenty seven
