This Indenture made this nineteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & forty one Between Hiram Harrell and Nancy Harrel, of the county of Hancock and state of Indiana, of the first Part, and Elijah Reeves, of the county of Rush, and state of Indiana, of the second part. Witnesseth: that the said Party of the first Part, for and in consideration of the sum of eleven hundred dollars in hand Paid, to the said Party of the first Part, by the party of the second Part, in hand Paid the Receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath Granted, Bargained, and sold, and by these Presents doth grant, bargain, and sell, unto the said Party of the second Part, all the following described pieces, or Parcels of land, situate, lying and being in the county of Hancock and state of Indiana, and Bounded as follows (towit) The east half, of the north West Quarter, and the West half, of the North east quarter, of section thirty two in township seventeen, north of Range eight east, And the south West Quarter of the south East Quarter, of section twenty nine in said township containing two hundred acres, be the same more or less, in the district of land, made subject to sale at Indianapolis. To Have and to Hold the above described Premises, with all the appurtenances to the same belonging to the said Party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said party of the first Part, their heirs, executors, and administrators, the aforesaid lot or tract of land, with the appurtenances to the said Elijah Reeves, his heirs and assigns, will forever Warrant & defend. In Witness Whereof the said Hiram Harrel & Nancy Harrel, hath hereunto set their hand and seal, the day & year first above Written Signed, sealed, and delivered, in Presence of

Hancock County       Personally appeared before the undersigned one of the Justices of the Peace, of said county, Hiram Harrel & acknowledged the foregoing instrument of Writing to be his voluntary act & deed, for the purposes therein mentioned. Also Nancy Harrel the wife of the said Hiram Harrell, who being by me examined separate & apart from her said Husband, and the full contents thereof being made known to her, acknowledged the foregoing instrument to be her voluntary act & deed, and that she did sign, seal, & deliver the same voluntarily without fear, coercion, or compulsion, of or from her said Husband. Given under my hand & seal, this nineteenth day of March, 1841
