This day William L. Jones & James A. Reaves Administrators of George W. Reave Decd filed their petition in court setting forth that there intestate died seized & possessed of the following described real Estate lying and being in the county of DeKalb and State of Alabama to wit the NW ¼ S 20 T 9 R 7 the NE ¼ of the NE ¼ S 19 T 9 R 7 the NW ¼ S 31 T 9 R 7 the South half of the S.W. ¼ S 9 T 9 R 7 the East half of the S.E. ¼ S 8 T 9 R 7 Part of the NE ¼ S 17 T 9 R 7 the South part of the NW ¼ S 20 T 9 R 7 the NE half of S 20 T 9 R 7 and one fourty acre tract bounded North by home place of G. W. Reeve East by Wm Chaneys South by A J Chainey & West by Mills Creek that Said real Estate Cannot be equally fairly and beneficially divided among the heirs of said intestate estate without a sale there of and that the following are the heirs at law of Said intestates estate to wit Ruthy Reeve widow of deceased Ezekiel Reeve Jackson Reeve Dicy Flowers formerly Dicy Reeve wife of John Y. Flowers Netty Arena Jones formerly Netty Arena Reeve wife of William L. Jones James A. Reeve William G. Reeve Semey O. Reeve Noah V. Reeve also the following heirs of Cinthia Reeve and daughter of Said deceased wife of Reden Reeve to wit Caroline Reeve Elizabeth Slayton wife of Slayton Mary Bowers wife of Bowers, Fanny Reeve and Netty Reeve also the following heirs of Wiley Reeve decd son of said deceased to wit Ruth Brown wife of Elisha Brown Sarah Reeve George Reeve Jane Reeve Martha Reeve and Eliza Reeve petitioners having made oath that Ezekiel Reeve Jackson Reeve & Dicy Flowers wife of John Y. Flowers live beyond the limits of the State of Ala. Ordered by the Court that notice of be given by publication in the Jacksonville Republican a newspaper published in Jacksonville in said State for forty days requiring the heirs of the said George W Reeve decd to be and appear at a Special Term of the Probate Court to be held for said County on the third Monday in October next there and then to answer and defend against said __ It is further ordered by the Court that Moses C. Newman be and he is hereby appointed guardian ad litem of the following named minor heirs of said estate to wit Semey O. Reeve, Noah V. Reeve, Fanny Reeve, Netty & Sarah Reeve, George Reeve, Jane Reeve, Martha Reeve and Eliza Reeve It is further ordered by the Court that citations issue to Moses C. Newman Guardian ad litem of the heirs afsd and to William G. Reeve, Ruth Reeve, Ruben Reeve, Caroline Reeve Slayton consort of Elizabeth Slayton formerly Elizabeth Reeve - Bowen consort of Mary Bowen formerly Mary Reeve Reiden Reeve, Elisha Brown - consort of Ruth Brown formerly Ruth Reeve heirs of said estate requiring them to appear before this Court on the 3rd Monday in October next to shew cause if any they have why an order of sale of the real estate of the said George W. Reeve should not be granted according to the prayer of Petitioners.
