Transcript

I Stephen Reeves of the County of Buchanan and State of Missouri make this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit
1 I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Rebecca Ann Reeves all my property both real and personal during her natural life. If she shall not live to raise her children that is under age that they shall be raised from the proceeds of my farm and other property
2 I will and make bequeath to my two sons William Reeves and James H Reeves after the death of their mother and the raising of the infant heirs all my real estate
Thirdly I will and bequeath to my daughters the following sums
To Lucinda Buck and her heirs the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars
To Margaret Modrel and her heirs the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars
To Rebecca Reeves and heirs the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars
To Elizabeth Reeves and her heirs the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars
To Martha Reeves and her heirs the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars
To Henrietta Reeves and her heirs the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to be paid by my two sons when they become possessed of the lands which I have bequeathed to them and lastly I constitute my son William Reeves my executor of this my last will and testament

Personally appeared before me Ely Crumpley and acting Justice of the peace in and for Buchanan County and State of Missouri William P Lewis and James B Irwin and being duly sworn upon oath say that Stephen Reeves the testator signed the writing annexed to the foregoing commission as his last will in our presence that he was of sound mind and that the affirmts signed their names each for himself as witness in the presence of the testator
