Transcript

The State of Georgia Know all men by these presents that I Ezekiel Reeve and Mary Reeve wife of the said Ezekiel of the County of Dekalb in said State for and in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred & Eighty dollars to us paid by William L. Jones of the county of DeKalb in the State of Alabama and received by us as part of our distributive share of the estate of George W. Reeves deceased of which said Jones is one of the Administrators and which money as one out of the sales of the real estate of said George W Reeve sold under an order of the Honorable Probate Court of said county of DeKalb in said State of Alabama (?) remised released and forever quit claim and by these presents do remise release and forever quit claim unto the said William L. Jones all our interest claim and demand within law or equity heretofore now or at any time hereafter rested in or accuring to us as either of us in the lands of the said George W. Reeve so sold as aforesaid or in the proceeds thereof beyond a legal porportion thereof as one distributive share of the same (?) in or accaring to us by reason of any informality in equality as dfect in the proceeding prior to or canceled? in any maner whatsoever with the sales of said land and all actions suits attachments motions and proceedings either at law or in equity, vested in or accaring to us or either of us on account of the same from the beginning of the world to the present and all future time hereby releasing and also having the said Jones his heirs executors and administrators from all damages claims and demand either in law or equity for any defect in said proceedings and all claim in and to said lands so sold by him as aforesaid as one of said Administrators of said George W. Reeve deceased and from all interest which we or either of us have heretofore had in said lands or any part thereof. In witness whereof we have hereunto severally set our hands and seals this November 4th day in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty two

The State of Georgia County of DeKalb Personally came before me B F Hayle one of the judges of the inferor court of the State of Georgia Ezekiel Reeve and Mary Reeve his wife the persons who executed the above deed of conveyance to William L. Jonse who on the day of the date of the certificate duly acknowledged before me that on the day of the date of said conveyance they severally signed sealed and delivered the same to William L. Jones to and for the uses there in declared witness my hand and seal this fourth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two.
