State of Alabama  }      Probate Court for said
DeKalb County      }      County Spicial (sic) Term Sept 16th 1854 This day James M. Bibb Administrator of all and singular the goods & chattels rights and credits of William G. Reeve late of said County deceased filed his petition in this court sitting forth that his intestate died siezed & possesed (sic) of the S.W. ¼ of the S.E. ¼ & the S.W. ¼ of the S.W. ¼ of Section fourteen Township Nine of Range six lying in the said County That the personal estate of his intestate is not sufficient to pay the debts of the said intestate that his said intestate left Mary Jane, Francis Harriet James and Isaac Reeve his children & heirs at law all of which are under the age of fourteen years & reside in said County

          Ordered by the Court that John K. Hage be and he is hereby appointed guardian ad litem of the minor heirs of William G. Reeve Deceased before mentioned & named

          It is further ordered by the Court that citation issue to John K. Hage as Guardian ad litem of the aforesaid minor heirs of William G. Reeve Deceased requiring him to appear at the next regular Term of this Court to be held on the Second Monday in October next it being the ninth day of said month then and there to appear and Content (?) against said petition
