To the Hon. M. Gilbreath Judge of the Court of Probate of Marshall County Alabama
                  Your petitioner Martha Ann Reeves (alias) Slaton would respectfully represent unto your Honor that Elijah Garrett of said County is the Guardian of her Estate in said County that since his appointment as such Guardian your petitioner has intermarried with one Elijah Slaton Your petitioner further represents unto your Honor that said Guardian has not made a final settlement of his said Guardianship & refuses so to do since said marriage
                  Your petitioner therefore prays your Honors order compelling said Elijah Garrett Guardian as aforesaid to come forward & make a final settlement of said Guardianship in which prayer & petition (? crossed out) petitioners husband who is of full age joins
