Location

Bishop's Cleeve is an ancient parish located in the north of the county of Gloucestershire. The village of the same name lies in the centre of the parish. The hamlet of Gotherington is in the north of the parish and adjacent to the neighbouring parish of Woolstone.

Bishop's Cleeve is approximately four miles north of Cheltenham and Evesham in Worcestershire is about twelve miles to the north east. The historic county town of Gloucester is about eleven miles to the south west.

To the east of Bishop's Cleeve lies Prescott, an extra-parochial place, Winchcombe with Gretton and Charlton Abbots. Sevenhampton Prestbury and Swindon are to the south west. To the west lies Elmstone Hardwicke with Uckington.   Both Tredington and Woolstone are to the north.
