Location

Parish Registers

A History of the County of Huntingdon: Volume 3" (pub 1936) indicates five early registers -
(1) baptisms, marriages and burials 1572 to 18 April 1682; (2) the same 25 March 1697 to 5 May 1754;
(3) the same 5 May 1754 to 3 Feb. 1811 with marriages ending 18 March 1802;
(4) marriages 4 Oct. 1802 to 22 Dec. 1812 and
(5) baptisms and burials 23 Feb. 1811 to 21 Dec. 1812.

Adjacent (pre 1832) Parishes

To the east and southeast Alwalton is bounded by Orton Waterville, to the south by Haddon and to the south west by Chesterton.
The northern boundary is the River Nene, with Castor in Northamptonshire across the river.
