Robert B. Heard was a private in the CSA 2nd Regiment of Kentucky Cavalry. He was taken prisoner at Washington, Georgia and sent to a prisoner of war camp in Baltimore, Maryland on 8 Jun 1863. At Danville, Virginia on 30 Aug 1865, he was paroled to return to his home in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
