Martha Reeves Adams, wife of Isaac N. Adams, has been documented to be the daughter of Jeremiah Reeves and Deborah Lanham of Madison County, Kentucky. One of their descendants has been in contact with other family members and located the family bible which records "Isaac N. Adams, son of John and Susannah Adams was maried (sic) to Patsy Reves daughter of Jeremiah & Deborah Reves December the 4th A.D. 1834".

In the 1840 Madison County, Kentucky census, newly married Isaac N. Adams was living in the next residence to Patsey's presumed brother Harvey Reeves.

By 1850, they had moved into Indiana and were living in Hendricks County. Within the next few years, younger brother Jeremiah Reves was also in Hendricks County, Indiana for his oldest son was reportedly born there in 1856. By 1860 Jeremiah had moved into neighboring Montgomery County and the family of Patsey and Isaac Adams had migrated to Missouri.

To add additional support to this family connection, a descendant of Patsey Reeves Adams is an autosomal DNA match to a descendant of Harvey Reeves.
