Jan 1801 Deed of Gift from Thomas C. Reeves to his aunt Mary Padgett and her Husband Joseph Padgett.

Will of Joseph Padgett, Charles County, 3/22/1811-1/28/1813. To: Sarah Padgett and her son, Elisha Padgett, 1/3 part of my whole estate, real, personal and mixed, equally divided between them; after Sarah's death, Elisha to have any remaining part of Sarah's part. Brother: Aaron Padgett, a negro boy named William. To: Hezekiah Barker, son of Joseph Barker, Jr., a negro girl named Patty. To: Cecelia Reeves, daughter of Leonard Reeves (deceased), a negro girl named Treacy. To: Keturah Oakley, daughter of Joseph Oakley, a negro boy named Aaron. After my debts are paid I devise to the heirs of Thomas Reeves, Ubgate Reeves, Leonard Reeves, James Reeves, and Jane Goldsmith, the brothers and sisters of my deceased wife, the residue of my estate equally divided amongst them. Executors: My respected friends, Thomas Isaac Reeves and John Clark Reeves. Wit.: Horatio Moore, Thomas J. Davis.¹
