Sarah Ann Reeves married John T. Akin. He was born about 1835 in Pike Co., GA, and died 13 March 1912 in Carroll Co., GA. He was a son of John Akin and Elizabeth Dingler and a brother of Rhoda Akin who married Sarah's brother Asa Jackson Reeves. Sarah and John lived in Spalding Co., GA, and Carroll Co., GA, for most of their married life. Sarah was alive at the time of the 1880 census but had died by about 1896, when John Akin remarried to Sarah Fordham.
