Timothy appears in Pendleton District, South Carolina in 1790 census next to George Reeves.

The first land transaction from Anderson County involving the Reeves family is from 1789. Benjamin Rainey of Wilkes Co. GA sold to Timothy Reeves of Pendleton District SC for 100 stg. For 282 acres on Generostee Creek, 96 District granted David Clark, 5 Feb 1787, recorded Estate Book 16 Sep 1778, p. 648 Wit: Alexander McMillian, Richard Bradcut. Richard Bradcut made oath to John Wilson JP

NOTE that Richard Bradcut was at Watauga settlements. Not sure about Clark and McMillien.

In another conveyance from 15 Jan 1802, Timothy Reeves sold to Jesse Brown 100 acres on Generostee Creek, part of 282 acres granted David Clark, conveyed to Benjamin Reney, from him to Reeves. Bounded on W. by James Long, on S. by Alexander McMillian, on E. by Elisha Garlant (Garland) and James Long to include improvements that Elisha Garland formerly lived at. Wit: James Clayton, Burrell Reeves, Richard Haney

For 182 acres, part of tract granted David Clarke, 5 Feb 1787 on Big Generostee of Keowee in Washington District conveyed to Benjamin Haney by Clarke, from Haney to Reeves, bordered on north by James Long, east by Henry Person, south by remaining tract. Wit: James Long, George Reeves James Long made oath to Joshua Saxon JP

Timothy Reaves assignee of Samuel Jackson. Granted 35 acres in Hickman Co. in the First District on Big Spring Creek on Piney River on Duck Creek. South of Abraham Land. Surveyed 11 Nov 1808 ( State of Tennessee #1400 Recorded 29 Aug 1809).

The name of Timothy's wife is not known. His children's names are not known. However, Reuben Reeves is a possible son.
