Narrative

Currently the only documentation of Zachariah Reeves of Orange County is the 1830 census. In that year he was the head of a household which contained himself and his wife, both 20-29 years of age and two daughters 5-10 years of age.

Zachariah appears to be related to the family of George Reeves, Sr. for he was living in fairly close proximity to Frederick Reeves son of George and Thomas Kirk who was married to George's granddaughter Tabitha Reeves.

The 1830 census is the only reference to Zachariah Reeves in Orange County records..

Research Notes

This is very likely Azariah Reeves son of Frederick Reeves who appears on the census of 1840 and at that time the ages of members of the household coincide with those of Zachariah in the 1830 census.
