John had a number of land transactions in Fairfield County. His wife Elizabeth is mentioned in one Fairfield County deed.

In roll 10 of the Fall 1827 Term of the Court of Common Pleas of Kershaw County, John G. Reves and W. B. Harrison were called to answer to a plea of trespass involving the estate of Daniel Little.

Research Notes

According to Reliques, John died in 1845 in Texas. However, he appears to have ended up in Louisiana. There is a memorial stone placed by the DAR in 1964 in the Rives Cemetery in Caddo Parish, Louisiana with the following information. It's not clear whether the original stones still exist, but this information seems to be a summary from the original stones:
