This Indenture made this fourth day of October in the year of our Lord One thousand and Eight hundred and Twenty Three between Jesse T. Reeves of the County of Putnam of the one part and Anderson A. Hudson and Malinda L. Hudson of the County of Handcock (sic) of the other part Witnesseth that the said Jesse T. Reeves for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two hundred dollars to him in hand Paid at and before he Sealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and Sold and by these presents do grant Bargain and Sell unto the Said Anderson A. and Malinda L. Their heir and assigns All that Tract or parcel of Land Situate lying and being in the County of Walton and State afores. Known in the plan of Said County by Lot No. One hundred & fifteen in District Number Three Containing One hundred and Twenty five acres more or less being one half of said No. One hundred and fifteen to be equally divided as to quantity & quality So as to include the House & Cleared or Improvement part of Said Tract of Land To have and to hold the Said Tract of land wit all and Singular the Rights Members & appurtainces thereof to the only Proper use benefit & Behoof to them the Said Anderson A. Hutson & Matilda L. Hutson their heirs Executors admr’rs & assigns In fee Simple. And the Said Jesse Reeves his heirs Exors & administrators and assigns against Himself his heirs & assigns & all and every other person or persons Shall and will Warrant & forever defend by Virtue of these presents.
In Witness Whereof the Said Jesse T. Reeves hath hereunto Set his Hand & affixed his Seal the day and year above written. The word by entertwined before assigned (?).
