This Indenture Made this first day of July and in the year Eighteen hundred and Twenty Six between Thomas Reeves of Alabama of the one part and Loften Reeves of the State of Georgia and County of Walton Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty dollars in hand paid at & before the Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said Thomas hath this day sold and Confirmed unto the aforesaid Loften all that tract of land lying in the County of Walton and on Williamsons Creek Containing fifty acres be the Same More or less Beginning on a post oak and running N 50 W 9 chains to a hickory thence N 70 W 50 chain to a Maple on Williamson Creek thence up said Creek to the Mouth of McCerrins(?) branch thence up said branch to a Maple thence ot the beginning to have and to hold with all and Singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging and the said Thomas will warrant and forever defend the said premises unto the said Loften his heirs etc from him the said Thomas his heirs or any persons claiming under him or them but no other person
