This Indenture made and entered into the twentyfifth day of January in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty three between J H Reeves of the County of Bedford and State of Tennessee of the one part and Jesse Gibson of the County and State aforesaid of the other part, witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Gibson have this day and day above written bargained sold and delivered a certain piece or parcel of ground being and lying near the west boundary of the corporation line in the Town of Shelbyville known and designated in the general plan of said Town as lot number one hundred & seventeen which lot I do bind myself my heirs and administrators jointly and severly by these presents to warrant and defend against all lawful claims whatever unto the said Jesse Gibson his heirs and assigns for ever in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date above written -Test

Bedford County } Personally appeared before me Danl McKisick clk of Bedford Circuit Court James McKisick one of the subscribing witnesses to the within deed of conveyance from J H Reeves to Jesse Gibson who being duly qualified deposeth and saith that he heard the said J H Reeves the bargainer acknowledge the execution of the within deed for the use and purpose therein specified and that G R Anderson the other subscribing witness signed and attested the same as a witness & that he the said J R Anderson has since witnessed the same departed the same departed this life Given under my hand this 2nd day of January 1836
