Abbeville District ) In the name of God, Amen, I, William Reeve Sr. being of sound and disposing mind and memory but weak in body and calling to mind the certainty of death and uncertainty of life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it hath pleaseth God to bless me with do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following -
1st I will my body to the ground from where it came and my soul to God who giveth.
2nd I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my personalty property.
3rd I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Nuttey Reeve, all the remaining property, personal and real, during her natural life for her support.
4th I will that at her death the whole to be sold.
5th I will to my son, George W. Reeve, five dollars.
6th I will to my son, James W. Reeve, five dollars.
7th I will to my daughter, Nuttey Hughes, five dollars.
8th I will to the heirs of my daughter, Elizabeth Narwood deceased, five dollars.
9th I will to the heirs of my daughter, Jane Mitchell, deceased, five dollars.
10th I will to the heirs of my daughter, Lucy Mitchell deceased, five dollars.
11th I will to the heirs of my daughter, Nancy Nusom deceased, five dollars.
12th I will the balance of my estate to my three sons and daughter (viz) Noah R. Reeve, William D. Reeve, Joshua S. Reeve and Sarah Donaldson to be equally divided between them.
13th And Lastly I do constitute and appoint my son, Noah R. Reeve, Executor and my beloved wife, Nuttey Reeve, Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.
Whereof I have thereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this fourth∗ tenth day of February A. D. one thousand eight hundred and thirty eight and Sixty Second year of American Independence.
