David Lee Reeves
HONEA PATH, Aug. 15-David Lee Reeves, 85, died at his home in the Friendship community last night.
He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. J. L. Holden, Mrs. R. S. Templeton, Mrs. B. H. McClellan, Mrs. D. H. Attaway, Mrs. H. P. Hordan, Mrs. O. C. Bannister and John Reeves.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at Shady Grove Baptist church, where he had been a member for fifty years. The Rev. T. L. Hooper and the Rev. Mr. Brock will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be: Harold Reeves, Cullen Reeves, Roy Reeves, John Reeves, John Attaway, Guy Reeves and Herman Bannister, all grandsons of the deceased. Honorary pallbearers will be: J. P. Cooper, A. C. Aiken, H. G. Greer, E. C. Martin, R. C. Smith, B. L. Scott, C. C. Cox, J. W. Motts, J. C. McMillion, Joe M. Aiken, R. L. Cothran and Turner Snipes.
