Narrative

Rhoda Ann Reeves married James William Knight at Evansville, Troup County, Georgia. He was born 1858 and died 1928. The couple is said to have married in a house located on the boundary between Alabama and Georgia, with rooms in each state. The couple married in a room located inside Georgia. They lived in Randolph County, Alabama, from the time of their marriage until about 1906, when they moved to LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia. Rhoda died there in 1907 as a result of complications following the birth of her last child. She was buried in Wehadkee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Rock Mills, Randolph County, Alabama, where James William Knight was buried in 1928.
