In the Name of God Amen this fifteenth Day of December in the year of Lord 1795 Isaih Reeve of Brookhaven County of Suffolk & State of New York being at this present time weak in body but of a sound memory thanks be Given to God therefor and calling to mind the uncertainty of Life & knowing it is appointed for all men once to Die Doe make and ordain this my last Will & Testament in manner & form following first I recommend my soul into the Hand of God that gave it and my Body to the Earth to be buried in decent and Christian burial at the Discretion of my executors nothing doubting but I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God And as touching such worldly estate whereas it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give & dispose of the same in the following manner & form -
First is my will that all my just debts and funeral charges be all paid by my executors
Item I give unto my son Silas Reeve the use and improvement of my hows and lands that I now possess his Natural Life after his Decease I give it to his two sons named Charles Reeve & Joel Reeve equally betwixt them to they & their heirs for ever. I give unto my son Silas Reeve my Loom and Tackling and all my waring apparal & case of Bottels & all my farming utencials
Item I give unto my Daughter Abigail Post five shillings per year from my Deceas During her Life to be paid by my executors & If she should Have an heir from her own Body that arrives to age I give it forty pounds
Item I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Homan fifty pounds at my deceas current money
Item I give unto my daughter Julianer Reeve three pounds a year untill marriage day & if she lives to be married I give her fifty pounds current money
Item I give unto my daughter Mahitable Bishup thirty pounds current money at my decease
Item I give unto my four granddaughters Abigail Homan Catharine Homan Elizabeth Homan & Marah Homan ten pounds apeace of lawfull money at my decease & if one or more should die thare part shall be divided among the living sisters. I give unto my two daughters Julianer & Mehatable each of them a bed & bedsted & bed cord & bed furniture that belongs to each bed after my just debts & legeses is paid by my executors hereafter mentioned if any remains of my mobable estate I mean for it to be given one forth part to my daughter Elizabeth one forth part to my daughter Julianer one forth part to my four Grandaughters above mentioned one forth part my grandson Joel Reeve equally to be Devided among them and if there should not be enough for to pay my debts & legesis of my moveables I mean for them to be curtaled according to their proportion and if any of my heirs should bring any demands against my estate except bonds or notes it shall be paid out their own legacy.
Lastly I do hereby authorise my son Silas Reeve & John Harrns Junr to be to be executors & executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby renounce utterly revoke all former wills or bequests by me at any time made & confirmed this & no other to be my last Will & Testament - I give my daughter Julianer a kite? or Horne? in my H? till marriage Day

Suffolk County } SS Be it remembered that on the twenty ninth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety six personally came and appeared before me Nicoll Floyd Surrogate of the Said County Zachariah Sandford of the County aforesaid yeoman and being duly sworn on his oath declareth that he saw Isaiah Reeve Declared Sign and Seal an instrument purporting to be the will of the said Isaiah Reeve of which the preceeding is a true copy and heard him publish and declare the same as and for his last will and testament that at the time thereof he the said Isaiah Reeve was of sound disposing mind and memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of him the Deponent and that his name subscribed to the said will is of his own proper hand writing which the deponent together with Mary Cooper and John havens the other witnesses subscribed as a witness to the said will in the presence of the testator.
