The birth of Gilfrid (sic) Montier REEVE was registered during the 1q1889 in the West Ham Registration District. His mother's maiden name is noted as STRANGE.

Gilfrid was a Captain in the Essex Regiment, 12th Battalion in World War I and was killed in action in France. His death is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial in the Somme département of France.
