In 1841, he was age 25, living with his brother James (40) and their mother Mary (70) in Little Laver.
In 1851, he was age 38, living in Little Laver with his brother James (54).
In 1861, they were still living in Little Laver. He was age 48.
In 1871, he was a lodger in Little Laver in the household of Elizabeth Lake and her sister.
In 1881, he was still living with the Lake sisters in Little Laver.
