• 1635. July 2. Mathew Reev sonne of John Reev & of Elizabeth his wife was baptized July 2d
• Matthew son of Matthew Reeve & Mary his wife bapt 25 March 1678

In his will, written 8 Mar 1677/8, Matthew refers to the following individuals:

• my Beloved wife Mary
• my loving father in law Edmond Crow, of Hattfield aforesaid yeoman
• my loving Brother Samuel Reeve of Tarling, & my loving Brother Edward Crow, & to my loving sister Elizabeth ye wife of John Hawes & to my loving sister Mary Crow all of Hattfield

These "Crow" siblings were half-siblings from his mother Elizabeth's marriage after the death of Matthew's father John. The will was proved 20 Jan 1678/9.

The son Matthew is mentioned in the will of Matthew's brother Samuel.

Matthew's widow Mary is almost certainly the one who married John Cavell at Langford in 1679. From Langford, St Giles, Essex Parish Register:
