William Reeve of North Weald Bassett wrote his will on 5 May 1630. He mentions "Ezekiell Glascocke my sonn in law & Abigall Glascocke my daughter in law." These were actually his step-children. It was common at the time to refer to step-children as in-laws. William also mentions his wife Ann and daughter Ann. He also refers to "my brother in in law Nicholas Gower." His will was probated 1 July 1630.

His widow Ann wrote her will on 24 Aug 1635. Among others, she mentions "my sister in lawe Elizabeth nowe wife of Nicholas Gower." She also names "John Savill my sonne in lawe." Granchildren are listed among whom are Savag Glasco, Rose Glasco, Richard Glasco, John Savell, and Richard Savell. She also mentions "Ann Savill my daughter."
