Narrative

Children of Anthony Reeves and Elizabeth McKinzie as recorded in the parish register of St. Paul's Protestant Episcopal Church in Baltimore, Maryland:
  1. Benjamin Reeves, b. 23 Apr 1794
  2. John Reeves, b. 16 Feb 1796
  3. Alexander Hilman Reeves, b. 22 Apr 1799
  4. Joseph Reeves, b. 28 Nov 1800
  5. Anthony Reeves, b. 13 Oct 1802
A guardian, Elizabeth Reeves, was appointed for John, Alexander and Anthony Reeves in 1802 per Baltimore Orphan's Court Proceedings Book 4, page 292, but there was no mention made of Benjamin or Joseph Reeves. It is unknown whether these children were deceased by the date Anthony died but they would appear to be.

Anthony indefinitely rented a piece of land in Baltimore County from Nicholas Leeke starting in 1796. In 1804, after Anthony's death, a deed was recorded in which Elizabeth and the children would continue indefinitely renting the same property. His son John then sold it in 1818.

Baltimore Federal Gazette, 19 Oct 1803
REAVES, Anthony, of Fells Point, a pilot, died last Fri morning leaving a wife and several small children.
