Chapman S. Reeves Dead.
Chapman S. Reeves, a highly respected resident of Groton, died Saturday evening at his home on Eastern Point road. He had been ill for some time. Mr. Reeves was 80 years and two days old. Since retiring from business, 10 years ago, he has made his home with his son-in-law, Harry Hays. Surviving are five children, Mrs. Harry Hays, Mrs. Kate H. Clark of this city, Mrs. Lawrence Clark of Kingston, N. Y., and two sons, Chapman S. and Harry Reeves, of Brooklyn, N. Y. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday from his late home. Immediately after the service the body will be taken to Brooklyn, accompanied by his family, where services will be held, thence to Greenwood cemetery, there to rest beside the loved ones gone before.
