John Reeves married Hannah Pedigo on 29 Oct 1807 in Patrick County, Virginia by Lewis Foster. The bond was given 27 Oct.
The Minutes of Patrick County, Virginia Court record several entries for a case - John Reeves vs Robert Sharp, from October 1809 through July 1810 when finally the defendants failed to appear and judgment was in favor of John Reeves.
In 1810, John A. Reeves bought 100 acres of land from Robert Burton. In 1812, he was granted 50 acres of land by the State of Tennessee as the assignee of Robert Burton. That same year, he apparently sold his 100 acres that he had bought in 1810.
