To all Christian people to whom these presents shall come Isaac Reeve of Southold in ye county of Suffolk in ye province of new york in america yeoman: sendeth greeting: whereas James Reeve late of Southold deceased and grandfather of him ye sd Isaac Reeve did in his last will and testament give unto his son Isaac Reeve now deseased and to his Heirs and assigns forever one half part of all ye lands and medowes he died seasd of in Corchoge division of lands exsept ye home lot and buildings: which half part of lands and medowes has not yet been formally divided from ye other half part which was given to James Reeve and ye sd Isaac Reeve son of ye sd Isaac Reeve desesed being ye Heir to sd lands and medow: Therefore know yee that he ye sd Isaac Reeve as well for and in consideration of ye sum of two hundred pounds currant mony to him to him in hand paid or secured at and before ye sealling and delivery hereof by his unkel James Reeve of ye town afore sd yeoman: the receipt where of ye sd Isaac Reeve doth hereby acknowledge him self therewith fully satisfied and thereof & therefrom doth clearly acquit exonerate and discharge ye sd James Reeve his Heirs executors and administrators for ever by these presents: as for other good causes and considerations him there unto moving (?) hath remised released and for ever quitclaimed and by these presents for himselfe and his Heirs doth fully clearly and absolutely remise release and forever quit claime unto ye sd James Reeve In hie full and peaceable possession and sd seizes now being and to his Heirs and assigns for ever: all such right estate title intrest and demand whatsoever as he ye sd Isaacs Reeve hath had or ought to have of in or to all ye sd lands and meadowes by any wayes or means whatsoever: To have and to hold all ye sd lands and medow In ye sd devision: with all and singular ye priviledges and appurtenances there unto belonging and every part thereof unto him the sd James Reeve his Heirs and assigns to ye only proper use and behoofe of the sd James Reeve his Heirs and assigns forever: soe that neither he ye sd Isaac Reeve nor his Heirs nor any other person or persons for him or them or in his or their names or in ye names Right or stead of any of them shall or will by any way or means here after heard (?) claime challinge or demand any estate right titel or intrest of in or to ye premisses or any part or parcel of them: but from all and every action right estate title interest and demand and of in or to ye premises or any part or parcel there of they and every of them shall be utterly excluded and barred for ever by these presents: and allso ye sd Isaac Reeve and his Heirs ye sd lands and meadow with ye priviledges and appurtenances to ye sd James Reeve his Heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use and uses in manner and forme afore specified against him ye sd Isaac Reeve his Heirs and executors administrators and assigns and every of them shall warrant and for ever defend by these presents: In witness where of He hath hereunto set his hand and seal this sixth day of december in ye year of our lord Christ one thousand seaven hundred and twenty seaven and in ye first year of ye reign of King George ye second over Grate Brittan &cIsaac Reeve
