The Reeves Project - Terms and Conditions

By accessing The Reeves Project Tiki website you agree to abide and be bound by all terms and conditions related to this site. If you do not agree to all of these conditions, you may not access, log in to, or contribute to the Tiki.

These conditions may change from time to time. Your continued use of the Tiki following the posting of changes to these conditions means that you accept those changes.

Welcome to The Reeves Project Tiki and your opportunity to become a valued contributor to writing the history of the Reeves surname and the variants of that name. Before you get started, we recommend that you read these Terms and Conditions and the FAQs.

You may view, download, and print material from this site for your own personal research. This license does not permit use for any commercial purpose. All materials contributed by users to The Reeves Project Tiki are governed by the Creative Commons license found at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/us/.

The Reeves Project Tiki is not responsible for any use that you make of materials from this site. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to deny, revoke, or limit use of this site to any person. We also reserve the right to remove any contribution that we deem, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate for any reason or a potential violation of the rights of any party.

Contributing Information.

The Reeves Project Tiki has been developed specifically to provide an online repository for genealogy and history research of the Reeves surname. Contributions are invited from anyone interested in the Reeves surname or the many variants.

You can contribute textual materials and non-textual materials, including images, to this site. You agree to submit only contributions that you reasonably believe will inform or enhance the experience of other users who are seeking information on Reeves family history research. All contributions should include a reference source of where the information was found.

Any person making a contribution to The Reeves Project Tiki is assumed to do so in good faith, adding only material that has been researched to the best of their ability to verify the authenticity of the work. We expect all researchers will verify original documents or other documents and draw their own conclusions regarding truth and accuracy.

The Reeves Project Tiki is under no obligation to review or examine any contributions that you or others submit, and we do not represent or warrant that any contributions found on the Tiki are appropriate, in good taste, or do not violate the rights of any other party.

It is assumed that contributors come here to collaborate and advance knowledge about our ancestors. It is important, therefore, that we treat other contributors and users as we want to be treated. Keep in mind that raw text may be ambiguous and often seems ruder than the same words coming from a person standing in front of you. Text is void of facial expression, vocal inflection or body language. Irony is not always obvious when written. Be careful in choosing the words you write: what you mean might not be what others understand. Be careful of how you interpret what you read: what you understand might not be what the writer means.

You agree that you will not individually, or as part of any collective effort, submit or post contributions to The Reeves Project Tiki that could be deemed harmful or offensive to other users, nor will you impersonate another user in order to hide your identity or implicate another in such actions. You agree to do nothing that might disrupt the flow of data to and from the Tiki, impact the service or performance of the Tiki, or circumvent any of the controls or usage rules. You understand that the result of harmful or offensive actions may include revocation of your right to access the Tiki.
