Transcript

In the name of God Amen. The 20th day of January and in the year of our Lord 1728. I, Thomas Reviss of Baltimore County Mill write being very sick and week but of perfect mind and Memory thanks be to God therefore and calling unto mind the Mortality of my body, and knowing it is appointed for all men once to dye, do make and ordain this to be my last will and Testament that is to say Principally, as for my Soul I Recommend it to God that gave it, and as for my body I Recommend it to the Earth to be buried in a desent and Christian like manner at the descretion of my Executors nothing doubting but at the Generall Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly estate as werewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this life I dispose of the same in the following manner and form.
Imprimis. I make constitute and appoint my well beloved Friends John Harryman and George Harryman to be my Executors and after my debts paid to be equally divided between them both, likewise I leave my lot of land called Revis Lot and mill and mill stones and irons and all that belongs thereunto to Thomas Sheredine John Harryman and George Harryman Joyntlye and Severally to be posse'd by them, for the space of Twenty years and if no Eare cums, at the Twenty years end then to them and their heirs forever. I disallow revoke and disannull all other former wills legacies and Deaddy Gifts Rattifying and confirming this to be my Last will and Testament as witness my hand and Seal the day and date above written

Came Martin Parlet Thomas Sutton and James Mallord the subscribing evidences to the within will and made oath that they saw the Testator Thomas Revis sign and seal and heard him publish the same to be his Last Will and Testament and that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their knowledge of sound and disposing mind and memory and that they subscribed the said will in presents of the said Testator.
