To all to whom these Presents Shall Come Greeting now know ye that I George Reeves of Hamilton Parish in Prince Wm. County in the Colony of Virginia for the naturall love and affection which I have and do bear unto my Dear and well beloved friend Thomas Davies of the Parish County and Colony aforesaid mason and Bricklayer and for Divers other Good Causes and Considerations me thereunto Especially moving but more Especially for and in Consideration of the Sum of five Pounds to me in hand Paid the receipt hereof I do hereby acknowledge have Given Granted Aliened Transferr’d made over & Confirmed and by these Presents do Give Grant Alien make over Transfer & Confirm unto the aforesaid Thomas Davies his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns one Piece Parcel Tract Plantation or Dividend of Land Containing one hundred and Thirteen acres be the same more or less Situate lying and being in the Parish and County aforesaid and on the Branches of Bull run and the Branches of Buck hall being part of a Tract of Land Containing nine hundred and fourty one acres which said Tract of Land was Granted to me the said George Reeves by Deed from the Proprietors office bearing Date ye 24th day February 1728/9 the Courses and bounds of the abovesaid one hundred and Thirteen acres is as followeth Begining at a marked white oak Standing on the Side of a Lavel (?) near the foot of a Hill and Corner Tree to the Land aforesaid and Extending Thence along and binding on the Land of Howsin Hoe N 20d E 66 po to Several marked Saplings in a Poison field Thence binding on the Land of Howsin Hoe N 37½d E 80 po to a white oak near a red oak Ccorner Tree to the Land of the said Hoe Thence along the said Hoe’s Land S 82d E 47 po to a marked white oak Thence binding on the said Howsin Hoes Land N 3½d E 152 po to a marked red oak in or near the Said Hoes Line Thence S 70d E 52 po to a marked red oak in or near the Said Hoes Line Thence S 70d E 52 po to a marked red oak and white oak Sapling Thence S 20d E 60 po to a marked Spanish oak Thence S 38d W 100 po to a Several Saplings on the West Side a branch Thence S 20d W 69 po to a marked red oak thence S 36½d E 22 po to a marked white oak on Buck hall Branch Thence S 23d W 58 po to a marked red oak Thence S 6d E 47 po to four marked Saplings in the Line of the above said Tract of Land thence N 66d W 76 po to a marked white oak Standing on the Point of a Hill on the South Side Buck hall branch Thence Crossing the Branch and Extending N 54d to 36 po to a marked red oak and Several little Saplings on the Top or Brow of a small Hill Thence N 32d W 40 po to a marked red oak Sapling near a Corner red oak of Howsin Hoes and in the Line of the abovesaid Tract of 941 Acres Thence binding on the Land of Howsin Hoe East 16 po to the first Begining to have and to hold the aforesaid Land and Premises with every part and Parcell thereof together with the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any manner of ways appertaining and I do by these Presents warrant and Confirm the same unto him the said Thomas Davies his heirs Executors Administrators or assigns do make over Give Bequeath Transfer and Confirm as his and their Proper Estate in Fee Simple In Testimony whereof I do hereunto Sett my hand and affix my Seal this 17th day of November 1731Signed Sealed & Delivered George Reeves (Seal)

At a Court held for Prince William County the Seventeenth Day of November 1731
George Reaves acknowledged this Deed of Sale to Thomas Davis & Ann wife of the said George relinquished her right of Dower in the Lands Conveyed by the said Deed which on the motion of the said Davis if Admitted to Record
