Transcription

To all and to whom these Presents Shall Come Greeting now know ye that I George Reeves of Prince Wm. County in the Colony of – Virginia and Parish of Hamilton for the Love and affection and Goodwill which I have and do bear unto my Loving Brother John Reeves of the Parish County and Colony aforesaid and for Divers Good Causes and Considerations me thereunto but more Especially for and in Consideration of the Sum of Five Pounds in hand paid me the receipt whereof I do Acknowledge and my Self therewith fully Satisfied and Contented do Give Grant Alien Transfer make over and Confirm unto him the said John Reeves his heirs Exec.s Adm.s or assigns one Peice (?) Plantation Dividend or Tract of Land Containing Three hundred and Thirteen Acres be the Same more or less Situate lying and being in the Parish County & Col.o aforesaid and on ye (?) branches of the upperside of occoquan being Part of a Certain Tract of Land which was Granted to me by a Deed of 941 acres and is bounded as followeth begining (sic) at a marked Sapling in the Line of the above said Tract and Extending Thence S 14½ E 60 po to a red oak Corner of ye above said Tract Thence Continuing along the Several Lines Thereof S 7½ 238 po to Two White oak Saplins Thence S 15.d W 22 po to a White oak and red oak Sapling Thence S 84 po to Blands Hiccory land Branch Thence SW 48 po to a red oak Thence S 66 ° to 30 po Thence N 86½ W 86 po thence N 33d W 22 po thence N 17d 1h(?) W 94 po to a White oak Thence N 16d E 66 po to a red oak Sapling Thence to the Place where it begins To have and to hold the aforesaid Land Premises Together with all and Singular the rights members & appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any Manner of ways of right appertaining to him the Said John Reeves his heirs Execs. Adms. or assigns and I do by these Presents Warrant and Confirm the Same unto him the Said John Reeves his heirs Execs. Adms. or assigns from the Just Claim or Claims of My Self my heirs etc. by any way or means Whatsoever but the Same unto the said John Reeves his heirs Execs. Adms. or assigns as his & their Proper Estate in Fee Simple In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal this 19th day of April Anno Dom 1732
