This Indenture made the fourteenth day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and forty eight Between Walter Reeve of Northampton in the County of Burlington and province of New Jersey Yeoman of the one part and Henry Paxson of Bridgetown in the County and province aforesaid Tanner of the other part Witnesseth that the said Walter Reeve for and in consideration of the sum of forty seven pounds lawfull money of said province to him in hand paid by the said Hery Paxson at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Walter Reeve doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and every part and parcell thereof doth clearly and absolutely acquitt exonerate and discharge the said Henry Paxson his executors adminrs and every of them forever by these presents hath granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents for himself and his heirs doth clearly and absolutely Grant Bargain sell aliene enfeoffe and confirme unto the said Henry Paxson and to his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcell of land situated in the township aforesaid and is Bounded as followeth Beginning at White Oak tree lettered WH and WR corner to said Walter Reeve land and runs by the same north thirty nine degree west twenty two chains and fifty links to a post corner to Corner to Samuel Cripp's land thence by said Cripps North Sixty two Degrees and an half east Twenty four chain and fifty links to a post corner to Thoams Atkinson Junr land then by the same south thirteen Degrees East Twenty five Chains and thirty links to a hickery corner in the line of Thomas Atkinson Sr lands then by the same south forty eight Degrees west Thirteen chains and fifty links to a hickery corner on the line of William Haines land then by said Haines lands north thirty seven degrees west six chains and fifty links to the corner white oak first mentioned containing by the survey forty nine acres and one rood of land which said forty nine acres of land is part and share of Greater tract of land that was taken up and surveyed to the said Walter Reeve by virtue of a good and sufficient right of propriety that he pruchased in manner following Viz One hundred acres of William Stevenson by a Deed bearing date the fourth Day of August Anno Domini 1713 And three hundred acres of John Maumont by Deed Dated the twenty second day of July Anno Dom 1742 Reference being thereunto had will more at large appear. Together with all and every the mines minerals woods ways waters water courses fishings fowlings hawkings hunting and all other royalties powers profitts comodities hereditaments and appurtenances to the said forty nine acres and one rood of land and premises belonging or in anywise appertaining or therewith usually occupied or enjoyed and the reversions and remainders rents issues and profitts of the premises and every oart and parcell thereof and all the estate right title interest use property claim and demand whatsoever both in law and equity of him the said Walter Reeve of in to and out of the said forty nine acres and one rood of land and premises and every part and parcell thereof and all Deeds Evidences and writings touching the premises or true copies of the same To have and to hold the said forty nine acres and one rood of land as is above bounded Y described and all and singular other the premises hereby granted and conveyed or meant mentioned and intended so to be sold with their and every of their appurtenances unto the said Henry Paxson his heirs and assigns forever. To the only proper use and behoof of him the said Henry Taxson his heirs and assigns forevermore And the said Walter Reeve for himself his heirs Exrs adminstrs and every of them Doth Covenant and Grant to and with the said Henry Paxson his heirs and assigns by these presents in manner following That is to say that the said Walter Reeve at the time of the ensealing and delivery of these presents is and standeth lawfully seized in the aforementioned forty nine acres and one rood of land and premises and hath in himself good right full power and absolute authority to grant and convey the same unto the said Henry Paxon his heirs and assigns against him the said Walter Reeve and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons claiming or to claim by from or under him or them or by them or under any other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and foever Defend by these presents and that the said Walter Reeve shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter at the reasonable request and at the proper cost and charge in the law of him the said Henry Paxson hi sheirs and assigns make do acknowledge execute and perform or cause to be done all and every such further and other lawfull and reasoable act as to ? and things requisite and necessary for the further and more assuring suremaking and conveying of the premises and every part thereof with the appurtenances unto the said Henry Paxson his heirs and assigns as by the said Henry Paxson or his ir their council leanred un the law shall be reasonably devised advised or required. In witness whereof the said Walter Reeve hath hereunto set his hand and seal the Day and year above written 1748

Sealed and Delivered in the presence of Thomas Atkinson Patrick Reynold Wm Heulings Endorsed

Personally appeared before me Revell Elton one of the judges of the Court of the Common Pleas for the County of Burlington in New Jersey Thomas Atkinson Junr one of the Witnesses to the within Deed and did upon his solemn affirmation according to Law declare that he was present and saw the within Grantor Walter Reeves.
