This day came the Parties by their attornies and the Deft. saving to himself all advantage &c prays and has leave to imparle 'til next Court.

At a Court held for Brunswick County at the Courthouse of the said County the Twenty third day of November Anno Dom. 1756.

The attorney of our Lord the King having inform'd the Court that Samuel Reves has been Guilty of Perjury It is ordered that the sherif of this County take the said Samuel into Custody and committ him 'til he enter into a Recognizance with good security himself in the sum of Ten pounds and his Security in the sum of five pounds for his personal appearance at the next Grand Jury Court and not depart without leave of the Court

Samuel Revies with Joell Barker his Security came into Court and acknowledg'd themselves severally Indebted to our sovereign Lord the King his Heirs and successors the said Samuel in the sum of Ten pounds and the said Joell in the sum of five pounds to be levied of their respective Goods and chattels lands and Tenements and to our said Lord the King his Heirs and successors rendered Yet upon this condition that if the said Samuel Revis do make his personal appearance at the next Grand Jury Court held for this County then and there to do and abide what the said Court consider and not depart without leave of the said Court then this Recognizance to be void
