In the Name of God Amen, I Benjamin Reeves of Salem in the County of Essex Heelmaker, being obliged to go into the Wars, and not knowing the Time of my decease and being of perfect sound health in mind & memory & Body do purpose to make my last will & Testament as follows, viz.I give and bequeath all my worldly Estate of every kind and Nature unto my daughter Hannah Reeves, excepting so much as her mother shall necessary spend in bringing her up, and order that my real Estate shall be preserved clear of all incumbrances & delivered (except her mothers thirds) to her my said Child, at the time of her marriage or the age of twenty one years, but if my said daughter Hannah Reeves should die before marriage or the age of twenty one years, then & in that case, I give all my estate both real & personal to my wife Hannah Reeves, as her own Right free and clear to be possessed in fee simple.
Lastly I make my said beloved wife Hannah Reeves my sole executor of this my last Will and Testament.

signed sealed & delivered & declared to be the last Will & Testament of the said Benjamin Reeves at Salem this 13th day April Anno Domini 1759. Interlined with Hannah Reeves before Execution.

Essex Ipswich January 29th 1760 Before the Honble John Choak Esq Judge of Probate of Wills & for the said County, Stephen Webb and Roger Peele personally appear'd and made Oath that they were present & saw Benjamin Reeves late of Salem decd sign, seal and heard him publish and declare the within written Instrument to be his last Will and Testament, and when he so did he was of a sound disposing mind & memory to the best of their discerning and they together with Samuel Stone set to their Hands at the same time in his presence as witnesses.

Upon which this will is prov'd, approv'd & allowed the Executrix appeared & accepted that trust and to give in an inventory in sixty days.
